12 Apr School Information Sharing Agreement
The Data Protection Act (DPA) requires that personal data be treated fairly. This means that people generally need to know which organizations share their personal data and what they are used for. Please note that any personal data-sharing agreement, in which one of the partners acts as data manager and not as data manager, should be subject to specific agreement on data processing activity. The agreement on the exchange of information on local territory under the Derbyshire Partnership Forum Information Sharing Protocol between the Derbyshire Council, schools and academies has been reviewed and fully updated to comply with RGPD legislation and the Data Protection Act 2018, in accordance with the terms of the agreement. It includes all data exchange agreements involving the exchange of personal data between the Council, Derbyshire schools, derbyshire academies and multi-academy trusts with schools in Derbyshire, where all partners act as advocates. We ask all schools, academies and multi-academies in Derbyshire to confirm that they agree with the updated terms and conditions of the agreement by filling out the “Agreement Sign Up” web form. The web form also offers your school the opportunity to register as a partner of Derbyshire Special Education Needs and Disabilities ISA and for Derbyshire RM Integris Contract Only schools, to register or continue to use the secure student data sharing feature provided under the RM Integris system. After the form is filed, your school or academy will be registered as a partner for an updated agreement and you will receive a confirmation email for your registrations (the confirmation email will come from the “Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate” email address, if necessary, check your email). The DfE recommends as a “good practice” for processing managers in all schools and academies, parents or facilitators, students and staff to prepare a confidentiality statement explaining why personal data is kept and with whom it is shared. For more information, please refer to the OIC Code of Conduct for the Information Exchange Agreements (ICO) For more information, please see the DfE Data Protection and Data Protection Guidelines and the Code of Conduct for Data Exchange, which is attached to this page.
